Join us for the Pride in Tech Launch Party! It’s time to share our stories, celebrate excellence, form connections, and explore a brighter working future for the LGBTQIA+ experience in the world of tech.

Are you interested in helping create equitable and inclusive company cultures?

Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQIA+ tech community, an active ally who wants to learn how to make a bigger impact, or you want to unlock business performance by changing up your own company culture, we’re here to go beyond the rainbow lanyard and uncover meaningful, sustainable change.

We’re launching our community with an evening of insights from our expert panellists, where we’ll be exploring the power of positive workplace change. Come along to uncover opportunity and network in a supportive impassioned environment – we’ll be delving into:

  • Identity and experience through intersectionality

  • The unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals in today’s workplace

  • The role of the right (and wrong) language on the road to equity

  • The importance of psychological safety

  • Tools and techniques to build better interview processes

Everyone is on a different journey, and everyone deserves the right support and network to make it to their destination. We would love to see you there.

Our Panel

✨ Abi Chamberlain - Host at Pride in Tech

✨ Victor Moreno - Head of Engineering at HER

✨ Dinet Luchies-Siqueira - International Commercial Director and Head of Public Sector at SHI International Corp

✨ Sebastian Reemet - Engineering Manager at Duffel

✨ Victor Moreno Alhambra - He/Him

I'm the Head of Engineering of (probably) the queer-est start-up you can find out there! My name is Victor Moreno and I have been coding since I was a pre-teen. I have been a technology enthusiast since I can remember, which pushed me to learn, try, build and ultimately pursue Computer Science as a profession, something that coupled with the fact that Spain at the time wasn’t the best market for it, ultimately lead me to leave Zaragoza (my hometown) for the lively Dublin first, the Netherlands after and, finally landed in the UK where I have been the last 6 years. I've spent the last 17 years working on IT and the last 6 supporting other engineers as a leader. I love building stuff and in the last years, I discovered that building processes, teams and groups of people to work towards a goal is as satisfactory as building a CDN (which I did).

✨ Dinet Luchies-Siqueira - She/Her

Dinet has over 20 years of IT Channel experience. Throughout this time, she has been passionate about driving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the culture of the companies she worked in. As a proud LGBTQ+ ambassador and an ever-learning ally, she has been impactful in setting up Employee Resource Groups and Allyship programs within Fortune 500 organizations. Dinet was recognised in the CRN Diversity A-List in 2022.

Sebastian Reemet - He/Him

A queer tech goblin having chaotic queer time. Born in a tiny Nordic country, grew up in the countryside before moving to the big city. One thing led to another, and I somehow ended up in London. Wrote my first program at the ripe old age of 9 years old, and I've been working in tech for over 10 years now. Moving to the UK and working in an international environment has encouraged me to be, well, myself. As a trans, asexual, panromantic, polyamorous, disabled, neurodivergent person I keep collecting labels. It was not easy to figure out who I am, and my journey is far from done, but I still strive to support those that are on their own journeys, and to make the world better one person at a time.
