Office: Farringdon, min 3 days a week in the office.

We are seeking a bright, driven and enthusiastic Invoice Clerk. The position will play a key role in supporting the wider business and is a great entry-level opportunity for you to learn from a best-in-class finance function. The role also offers a study package (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) should you wish to develop into a Finance Assistant in the future with an even wider remit of responsibilities.

Reporting to the Billing Coordinator and also working very closely with the accounts receivable and payable departments, this role will ensure accurate and timely invoicing, including global and centralised billing.

Key Accountabilities:

· Raising sales invoices on a regular basis & managing invoicing queries

· Managing sales expectations as their key stakeholder.

· Supporting the accounts payable function with processing supplier invoices and employee expenses

· Supporting finance with weekly bank reconciliations and bank payment runs for contractors

· Updating and maintain accounting records within Xero/Netsuite, including preparation of monthly accounting journals and key balance sheet reconciliations

· Support finance during audit and year-end closing process

· Additional finance cover as required.

Here's what you’ll need to succeed:

· Proficient user of Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas etc.), Word and Outlook

· Methodical approach to problem solving, and ability to show own initiative.

· Strong organisational, time management skills and good interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude

· Attention to detail is key, with ability to learn quickly.

· Ability to appraise current processes and deliver key changes autonomously.

· High levels of resilience; sustains momentum when faced with challenges. Balances competing demands and responds well to changed priorities.

· Staffing industry experience highly desirable

· Finance & Accounting Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
