Evie is an award-winning software engineer from Stroud. Having changed careers from teaching to coding in 2018, she got into tech through a bootcamp, and is now working at Made Tech on life saving software for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. In her spare time, she channels her passion for technology into co-organising the QueerTech Bristol meetup; and volunteering as a coach at Codebar. She has been practising mindfulness meditation for thirteen years, and loves eating cheese!
